Reflections on the joy, humility, and community found in every 21K run.

Every Half Marathon puts this smile on my face—like it did last Sunday.
Here are my reasons:
- Every run teaches me humility. When I start and the challenge of completing 21k looms large before me, I am reminded to be humble & to be a learner!
- Every run allows me to reflect and go on a self-meditation mode. Just observing my running thoughts for over 2 hours tells you how far you have come!
- Every run has been special because of the fellow runners. When you are slowly struggling while crawling up the hill & you hear a fellow runner (of course a stranger) scream at you motivating you to give your best, you know that you are in a thriving community!
- Every run leaves you with lifelong memories. It doesn’t matter how hard the uphills of track & demanding conditions are!
- Every time you cross the finish line, it’s a great feeling of accomplishment & a blissful state of mind. It also reminds you that you now need to start preparing for the next one. What better self-motivation laced with pure joy!
